Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Intake Specialist to join our team at HGregory 1 Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of incoming vehicles, ensuring seamless logistics and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect incoming vehicles, identifying potential transportation damage and staging them for inspection at our reconditioning and logistics centers.
  • Collect and review the "Bill of Lading" for each vehicle, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company procedures.
  • Prepare vehicles for auction, arbitration, and wholesale by removing auction stickers and replacing them with pre-registered barcodes.
  • Coordinate with the buying and inventory teams to stage vehicles for sale, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Conduct daily inventory scans to ensure accuracy and completeness, and assist the audit team in locating missing vehicles.
  • Utilize live documents to track vehicle status and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Two years of work experience in an outdoor automotive environment, with a focus on receiving and inventory management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong understanding of automotive principles and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent customer service skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices and navigate inventory tracking systems.
  • Ability to travel and work in extreme conditions, with a strong team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
