Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining effective communication with the community board of directors and homeowners
  • Scheduling and preparing for regular board meetings
  • Responding to homeowner needs in a timely manner
  • Preparing and presenting the annual budget to the board of directors
  • Analyzing monthly financial reports and creating variance reports for the board of directors
  • Creating monthly management reports
  • Contacting and coordinating vendors for community maintenance and special projects
  • Overseeing daily operations of the HOA
  • Attending regular meetings with the management firm
  • Supervising administrative and maintenance staff where applicable
  • Managing all short- and long-term objectives and goals of the HOA
  • Developing and recommending the annual Operating Budget and Mid-Year Forecast with the assistance of on-site HOA Committees
  • Recommending all third-party service providers and contractors and managing their activity
  • Recommending aesthetic, maintenance, and safety improvements to the community on a monthly basis
  • Attending and contributing to Committee Meetings where applicable, including Finance, Infrastructure, Landscaping, Marine, and Security. Employ the resources of these committees in an efficient manner to formulate and execute strategy.
  • Supervising the on-site work order process
  • Working with all third-party professionals toward accomplishing their objectives to include: engineers, legal firms, insurance firms, construction management firms, and marketing firms
  • Recommending and ensuring the consistent execution of all emergency/storm management activity
  • Performing other job functions as assigned including personal management of on-site staff

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Formal education or professional work experience in Community Management or a related field
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to adapt to varying tasks
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Ability to create and maintain a budget
  • Ability to review and analyze financial reports

The salary range for this position is estimated to be near $68,000 annually, depending on experience and credentials. The compensation package includes:
