About the Role

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Director to lead the Maintenance Department at Rivet House, our luxury boutique hotel in Athens, Georgia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs, as well as preventative maintenance, to all areas of the hotel.
  • Supervise and provide leadership to maintenance workers to service hallways, public areas, and rooms as needed.
  • Complete all maintenance requests and tasks as assigned for the day.
  • Conduct regular visual inspections of public areas and the overall resort to ensure cleanliness, appearance, and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and ensure the security of hotel inventory and assets.
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests and practice chemical safety rules and procedures.
  • Report any suspicious persons, activities, or hazardous conditions to the General Manager.
  • Follow all Lost and Found protocols.
  • Maintain high standards of guest relations when interacting with guests.
