Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Nurse Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide expert-level care to patients with complex behavioral health needs. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in assessment, management, and treatment plan development for behavioral and mental health patients in crisis.
- Collaborate with Emergency Department and appropriate practice settings in providing medical stabilization and treatment according to scope of practice and training.
- Utilize clinical decision support tools and resources to recognize issues, prioritize care, and modify plan of care as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of psychiatric or behavioral health experience in the medical field.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact.
