Job Summary

As a Water Mitigation Lead Technician at Midwest Remediation, you will be responsible for overseeing every job assigned to you, managing the assistant technician, and engaging in communication with customers and/or point of contact for each job.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee every job assigned to you, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Manage the assistant technician, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Engage in communication with customers and/or point of contact for each job, providing updates and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Oversee after-hours jobs and handle on-call duties, ensuring that all jobs are completed to the highest standard.
  • Assist in disaster efforts in a weather event, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and inventory of the company vehicle assigned to you.
Requirements
  • Dewald Academy of Drying certification required.
  • Industry experience is a must, with a strong understanding of the mitigation process and equipment functionality.
  • Punctuality, motivation, initiative, reliability, and strong leadership skills are essential for this role.
  • Dewald Academy of Drying certificate and IICRC accreditation required.
  • No licenses required.
Physical Abilities
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for at least 8 hours.
  • Ability to sit for at least 6 hours.
  • Ability to work in outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to work in indoor non-airconditioned conditions.
  • Ability to work in a full-face respirator.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces (such as crawlspaces, attics, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a particulate mask (like N-95).
  • Ability to wear safety glasses or face shield.
  • Ability to work in and around sewage.
  • Ability to work around microbial growth.
