We are seeking a part-time Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at SurgCenter Camelback.

Job Summary

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for maintaining and caring for all surgical instrumentation, as well as setting up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and clean surgical instruments and equipment
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments for surgery cases
  • Set up and organize operating room instrument trays
  • Operate and maintain sterilizers, including steam and gravity sterilizers
  • Prepare reports and keep records of instrument maintenance and sterilization
  • Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and physicians
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Computer skills required
  • CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
  • 6 months of experience in a related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience as an Instrument Room Technician
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
