Join our passionate team as a full-time HEZ Community Outreach Specialist (Bilingual) within our Health Enterprise Zone (HEZ) Project. This role emphasizes community engagement and is crucial in managing our school-based and community food initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in community outreach activities to connect individuals with our services.
  • Support the management of school food pantries and additional external pantry sites.
  • Prepare food items for distribution across all pantry locations.
  • Assist in the delivery of food supplies, both internally and externally.
  • Help with the unloading and stocking of items in pantry facilities.
  • Contribute to the ordering of pantry supplies as necessary.
  • Represent the organization at events addressing food insecurity.
  • Complete intake documentation and maintain precise data records.
  • Utilize computer software for data entry and management.
  • Participate in training sessions organized by the agency and department.
  • Carry out other related tasks as assigned.
