Housing Site Coordinator

As a Housing Site Coordinator at SCHARP Calif, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of interim housing facilities, ensuring the effective functioning of the site and the well-being of its occupants. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with stakeholders, handling administrative tasks, managing resources, and providing support to residents as they transition through temporary housing solutions.
- Site Management: Supervise all aspects of the interim housing site, including security, maintenance, cleanliness, and overall safety.
- Resident Support: Provide assistance and support to residents, including intake procedures, case management, conflict resolution, and referrals to relevant services.
- Coordination: Collaborate with social service agencies, government entities, and community organizations to facilitate access to resources such as healthcare, education, employment, and housing.
- Staff Supervision: Directly manage on-site staff members, including case managers, security personnel, maintenance staff, and volunteers.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to resident demographics, services provided, incidents, and site operations.
- Budgeting and Resource Management: Assist in the development and management of the site's budget, including monitoring expenses, procurement of supplies, and allocation of resources.
- Crisis Management: Respond to emergencies and crises promptly, implementing appropriate protocols and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
- Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with the surrounding community, addressing concerns, promoting understanding, and facilitating volunteer opportunities.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and contractual obligations governing the operation of the interim housing site.
SCHARP Calif is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing mental health and rehabilitation services to vulnerable populations in South Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide quality mental health and social services to those in need.
