Job Summary

The State of Vermont is seeking a skilled Automotive Inventory Manager to oversee the inventory and stockrooms for the southwest region of the AOT Fleet. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory, ordering, receiving, and issuing parts, materials, and supplies from vendors in accordance with Bulletin 3.5. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a computerized inventory and ensuring that current SDS sheets are available. Additionally, this position may require operating a forklift and front-end loader, and providing training to Agency staff.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and maintain inventory and stockrooms for the southwest region of the AOT Fleet
* Order, receive, and issue parts, materials, and supplies from vendors in accordance with Bulletin 3.5
* Maintain a computerized inventory and ensure that current SDS sheets are available
* Operate a forklift and front-end loader as needed
* Provide training to Agency staff

Requirements

* Two (2) or more years of experience in inventory, or in automotive maintenance
* Automotive vocational coursework
* Experience with computers and ability to learn new programs
