Position Overview

The Director of Supply Chain Management is tasked with the comprehensive oversight of all supply chain functions related to the acquisition of materials and equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, managing inventory, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and the introduction of new products. Additionally, this role involves ensuring ongoing participation in purchasing coalitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement processes and maintain vendor relationships to ensure optimal contract management.
  • Facilitate participation in Group Purchasing Organizations and other collaborative purchasing efforts.
  • Set and achieve departmental goals related to cost efficiency, supplier diversity, and revenue growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and internal protocols.
  • Manage financial aspects of supply chain operations, including budget development and expense tracking.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Master's Degree is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management within the healthcare sector or a similar field, demonstrating increasing responsibility.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role is required.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certifications such as APICS or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.

Compensation

Salary Range: $82,000 - $129,000
