Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a team to develop and execute bid strategies for high-value projects.
  • Attend bid meetings and provide accurate and competitive estimates.
  • Lead the development of preconstruction practices on projects ranging from $200m-$1bn+.
  • Prepare thorough and timely cost analysis.
  • Provide design assist/constructability reviews for each phase of design development.
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of submissions.
  • Purchasing/preliminary subcontract language (scopes of work) in negotiations.
  • Analyze project proposals to prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Gather, update, and review historical cost data.
  • Preliminary scheduling.
  • Form close partnerships with local subcontractors.
  • Lead role in training other professionals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management or related field of study.
  • Minimum 5 years preconstruction experience.
  • Experience estimating on projects in excess of $200m+ within the markets stated above.
  • Proficient across a range of applications and data collection sources.
  • 25% travel.
