Job Overview

Position Summary:

The role of the Sales Consultant presents an excellent opportunity for a seasoned licensed real estate expert seeking a dynamic career in residential sales with a reputable and expanding national builder. Your main goal will be to fulfill sales and closing objectives by effectively presenting our properties, delivering outstanding customer service, and guiding potential buyers through the home purchasing journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets and closing objectives by leveraging sales and marketing tools efficiently.
  • Proactively attract visitors through follow-up communications and organizing events; prepare weekly reports on traffic and sales for management review.
  • Provide a warm and professional reception for potential clients by promptly welcoming and registering them.
  • Guide prospective buyers through model homes and the community, emphasizing unique styles and features of Landsea Homes.
  • Illustrate where new homes will be constructed, identifying property boundaries, onsite enhancements, and the locations of neighboring buildings.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations following the company's established selling methodology.
  • Encourage sales closures by posing effective closing-related inquiries and confirming follow-up visits.
  • Communicate the key differentiators of Landsea Homes, highlighting superior construction quality and innovative designs.
  • Inform clients about the homebuilding and purchasing processes, ensuring their comfort, confidence, and ongoing engagement.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external contacts while embodying the company's culture and expectations.
  • Manage customer follow-ups and address any issues, complaints, or delays using effective communication strategies to guide them through the homebuying process.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about competitor policies, programs, pricing, and products, as well as key demographics to provide valuable insights to management and homebuyers.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of prior sales experience, ideally in the real estate or homebuilding sector.
  • Availability to work weekends, as this is a crucial time for customer interactions.
  • Proficient in computer usage and adaptable to various applications such as Outlook, Atlas, Salesforce, and HB1.
  • Current knowledge of homebuilding and the residential real estate market is preferred.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to prepare, plan, and deliver clear and convincing sales pitches.

Physical Requirements:

This position entails both office and field duties. Candidates must be able to operate a vehicle, navigate stairs/ladders, walk on active construction sites, read plans, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry items weighing over 25 pounds. Office responsibilities include prolonged computer use, paperwork completion, and phone communication. Proficiency in using a computer keyboard and calculator is necessary. Must be capable of working in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors. Professional appearance and appropriate business attire are expected due to public contact.

This is a safety-sensitive role involving tasks that could impact the safety and health of the employee and others.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel may be necessary. A valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance are required at all times.
