Position Overview:
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a skilled Multi-Functional Quality Engineering Associate Manager to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected individual will undertake the following duties:
  • Overseeing the quality team and ensuring effective delivery of services including Calibration, Documentation, and Capital equipment planning/tracking.
  • Managing employee resources, fostering development, and conducting performance evaluations of quality engineering personnel.
  • Serving as the primary contact for external suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven expertise in quality engineering, industrial engineering, or manufacturing/process engineering.
  • Experience in project management or team leadership roles.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Eligibility to obtain a secret security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
  • Active security clearance.
  • Experience with Calibration processes.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 Audit processes.
  • Knowledge of Hybrid Military Specifications (MIL-STD883, MIL-STD750), Industry Electronic Specifications (J-STD, IPC), and/or Mechanical Specifications (ASTM, GD&T).
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, SAP, and PLM systems.
  • Experience in failure analysis, corrective actions, and presenting findings to senior management.
Security Clearance Requirement:
This role necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens for consideration.

  • Work Environment: This position requires onsite presence at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
  • Work Schedule: Lockheed Martin offers various flexible work schedules to accommodate our employees, including a 4x10 hour day schedule with three days off per week.
