Role Overview

As an essential member of our aviation team, the Aviation Infrastructure Engineer will be instrumental in the design and management of airport-related initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
  • Project Design: Leading and participating in the design of diverse aviation infrastructure projects.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing project data and preparing comprehensive engineering design reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Client Engagement: Facilitating communication with aviation clients to ensure their requirements are met effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Conducting quality assurance and quality control tasks to uphold high project standards.
  • Project Management Assistance: Supporting project management efforts to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
  • Onsite Engineering Support: Acting as the onsite engineer during construction phases.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Interpreting FAA guidelines, geotechnical reports, and survey data to inform project designs.
A valid driver's license and occasional travel will be necessary for direct engagement with project sites and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or Transportation from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant civil engineering experience, with a preference for candidates holding or pursuing a PE license.
  • EIT certification is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; experience in heavy civil transportation and/or aviation design is highly desirable.
