Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Support Technician to join our team at Electro Rent. Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure test equipment at customer sites, ensuring accurate and efficient setup.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on test equipment, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers via phone, email, or on-site visits, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing, shipping, and receiving of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including testing and repair comments, data collection, and local inventory integrity.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in PC troubleshooting or setup.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work overtime with little notice and perform overnight travel as required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good technical writing skills and attention to detail.
What We Offer

Electro Rent offers a competitive salary range of $20-$22 per hour, depending on experience. This is a full-time position located on-site at our Columbia, MD facility, with a typical 40-hour workweek.
