Job Opportunity: Behavior Interventionist

Cortica is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Interventionist to join its team. In this role, you will provide direct behavior therapy services to individuals with autism and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior-analytic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in 1:1 and group settings.
  • Develop and implement positive behavior strategies with the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collaborate with families and supervisors to establish a supportive environment for treatment and education.
  • Document all interactions, including session notes and data collection.
  • Assist with individualized assessment procedures, including preference assessments and data collection.
  • Follow Cortica's crisis and emergency procedures, including de-escalation strategies and mandated reporting.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children, preferably those with autism.
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field or relevant work experience.
  • Registered Behavior Technician certification.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and late afternoons.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in software and systems, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office products.

The base direct pay range for this position is $20.87 to $28.00, with compensation adjusted based on experience, education, and location.
