Position Overview
  • Conducts diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures for diverse patient populations.
  • Collaborates as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Actively contributes to the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Complies with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Operates specialized imaging equipment pertinent to patient care.
  • Prepares and organizes equipment and rooms tailored to patient age and size.
  • Prepares and drapes patients appropriately while arranging procedure tables.
  • Assists physicians as a scrub technician during interventional procedures.
  • Exhibits the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care.
  • Develops and maintains technical competencies required for various interventional radiology procedures.
  • Selects appropriate radiographic parameters to uphold departmental performance standards.
  • Maintains proficiency in technical skills essential for supporting a range of interventional radiography tasks.
Job Qualifications
  • A minimum of one year of experience in interventional radiology or cath lab settings, either in a hospital or clinic.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography.
  • California Radiologic Technologist license is required at the time of application.
  • Fluoroscopy Permit must be obtained prior to submission.
  • BLS certification from AHA is required.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is necessary; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in sterile techniques and knowledgeable about various supplies and equipment used in interventional and cath lab settings.
Work Schedule
  • Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
  • Weekend on-call rotation required, with at least one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) commitment per month.
Additional Information
  • A valid photo ID is required on the first day of work.
  • Travelers must present necessary certifications on their first day.
