Patient Access Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Services Representative to join our team at Northwell Health. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and billing duties in support of inpatient and outpatient access to medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in performing pre-registration and registration duties, obtaining necessary demographic and insurance information, and entering data into our computer system.
- Aid in verification of patient insurance coverage and other related data with third-party carriers for scheduled appointments/procedures.
- Collect money due from patients at the time of service and perform related billing and receivable functions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience required.
