Position Summary: We are currently seeking a mechanically skilled individual to play a vital role in the upkeep of our premium rental equipment, ensuring its readiness for safe operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and inspect rental equipment orders to meet our stringent quality standards.
  • Disassemble, diagnose, repair, reassemble, and test a variety of equipment including electrical, manual, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on rental machinery.
  • Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading delivery vehicles and moving equipment within the facility.
  • Safely drive company vehicles to deliver rental orders.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.), with potential for occasional overtime.

Compensation: Starting pay is $22.37/hour, with eligibility for a $1.00/hour increase after six months, plus annual performance raises.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: A strong mechanical background is preferred, including automotive, machine shop, heavy equipment operation, or diesel mechanics.
  • Experience with hand and power tools is desired.
  • Familiarity with air hoists, comealongs, manual hoists, electric hoists, or other rigging equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.

Certifications:

  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
  • DOT certification is necessary upon employment commencement (cost covered by the company) and must be maintained.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to lift/carry up to 55 lbs.
