Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on all types of mobile heavy equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Tier IV Interim and Tier IV Final engine complaints.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various types of mobile equipment hydraulic systems.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair basic DC electrical systems.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Technical or Associates in Diesel Engine Repair or Automotive Technician Diploma.
  • Prior experience is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of DC electrical troubleshooting process and operation.
  • Knowledge of basic hydraulic system structure, function, and operation.
  • Knowledge of basic diesel engine operation and aftertreatment structure, function, and operation.
  • Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
  • Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative.
  • Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.

Minimum Physical Requirements:

  • Push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
  • Lift bulky objects.
  • Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, supine overhead reaching, crawling, high steps, fingering/grasping.
  • Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
