Production Lead Job Overview

Take your leadership skills to the next level with Tyson Foods Inc. as a Production Lead. We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Prepared Foods Division team. As a Production Lead, you'll play a critical role in maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily production orders, ensuring accurate shipments, and maintaining accurate record keeping. This position requires a strong understanding and control of the production process, general line maintenance, and staffing. As a Production Lead, you'll build and manage a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success. You'll also be responsible for promoting safety daily and through monthly safety meetings, as well as performing other responsibilities as needed.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and location

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Experience: Minimum one year of management/supervision experience OR minimum six months working as a Tyson Foods Line Lead or similar role
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Special Skills: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Travel: Some travel is required, which may include visits to other facilities or corporate locations
