Oncology Care Specialist

At US Oncology, Inc, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) II to join our team in Beaumont, Texas.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic oncology environment. As an Oncology Clinic RN II, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based cancer care, promoting exceptional patient outcomes and experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote the continuity of patient care consistent with established standards and practices.
- Assess health status by interviewing patients regarding current status and medical history, identifying physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of care.
- Provide psychosocial support to patients and families, facilitating clinical operations and patient care.
- Triage patient phone calls as needed and document relevant information in the patient's chart.
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
- Minimum of three years of RN experience; oncology experience is strongly preferred.
- Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
The estimated salary range is based on industry standards and takes into account factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
