Job Title: Fire Alarm Inspector

Delta Fire Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Inspector to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Inspector, you will be responsible for testing and inspecting fire alarm systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on fire alarm systems to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicate with account managers and schedule coordinators to ensure timely completion of inspections and projects.
  • Complete electronic reports on mobile equipment provided by the employer.
  • Work with project managers, schedule coordinators, and office administrative staff to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to clients.
  • Provide training to apprentices on company procedures, system inspection, and installation techniques.
  • Complete additional projects as assigned by supervisors or management.
Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Limited Energy Class A certification.
  • Strong working knowledge of life safety and NFPA codes.
  • Ability to perform testing and maintenance on fire alarm systems.
  • Ability to complete documentation as necessary.
  • Ability to use mobile electronics to record and transmit inspection documents.
  • Ability to coordinate between inspection deficiencies and service required to correct found deficiencies.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and authorities.
  • Valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Regular bending, reaching, climbing, and walking.
