Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team responsible for the completion of capital improvement projects for a large real estate portfolio.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to collaborate and build relationships with external and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate capital improvement projects and develop scopes of work and project schedules to ensure successful projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Schedule contractors in a practical order to ensure work is efficiently completed during jobsite inspections.
  • Authorize contract payments and set up and maintain contract files from inception to completion.
  • Evaluate and present opportunities for capital improvement projects while engaging in assigned communities.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including preparation of contracts, change orders, and other correspondence.

Requirements:

  • Valid NC Driver's License required.
  • Drug testing and criminal background check required.
  • Graduation from a four-year college with a degree in construction management is highly preferred.
  • Consideration will also be given to candidates with a High School Diploma or its equivalent and four years of experience in construction work with responsibility for supervision and construction cost estimating, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
