Pulmonary Nurse Specialist Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pulmonary Nurse Specialist to join our team at Akron Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with pulmonary conditions, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with pulmonary conditions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote self-management and empowerment.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
  • BSN degree or higher.
  • Minimum one year of experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in a pulmonary care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
