We are seeking a highly skilled Data Steward to join our team at Royal & Ross. As a Data Steward, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute data quality processes to ensure data trustworthiness and accuracy
  • Curate our data catalogue, including metadata validation, data tagging, and inactivation of obsolete data
  • Work with business stakeholders to develop data naming rules and lead product onboardings
  • Ensure appropriate access rules are in place and access groups are defined and maintained
  • Participate in the development of data policies, including data retention, data privacy, and data use regulations
Requirements:
  • Exposure to commodities trading environment and relevant market/fundamental data sources, types, and concepts
  • 2+ years of basic Python scripting or development expertise
  • 2+ years of SQL experience and awareness of database technologies like Oracle RDBM, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
  • Demonstrated technical writing expertise and effective communication skills
  • Business/Finance/MIS or related relevant degree
