Job Overview

Elementia USA is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to lead the implementation of a new Data Analytics Framework and Strategy. This is an operational role that requires a strategic thinker, self-starter, and someone with experience or involvement in data projects combining industrial and business data sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Data Analytics strategy to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Design and implement a data governance framework to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Lead the development of business intelligence tools and reports to support data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative data solutions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in Data and Analytics.
  • Experience implementing a Data & Analytics strategy, framework, and adoption strategy.
  • Experience consolidating Reporting across various multiple tool sets.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and SAP HANA.
  • Expertise with the digitization and streamlining of reporting.
  • Experience implementing Data governance policies across the enterprise.
  • Experience establishing new data and analytics capabilities from the ground up.
  • Expert in designing and implementing new governance frameworks, modern technologies, fit-for-purpose policies, and processes.

Bonus/Soft Skills:

  • Experience in Manufacturing, Mining, Oil & Gas, or Energy industry.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, like SQL, R, Python, SAS or DAX.
  • Understanding of machine learning algorithms and AI implementation.
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex findings and results into a compelling narrative.
  • Professional certifications like Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) can be advantageous.
