Job Summary:

The Sanitation Manager will be responsible for directing and managing all sanitation activities, including food safety, sanitation schedules, and maintenance of equipment and facilities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all equipment and facilities in good working condition, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet customer needs and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement sanitation schedules and programs to meet governmental, company, and customer standards.
  • Manage and enforce safety programs, including chemical handling and pest control.
  • Utilize CMMS (Limble) software for asset management and tracking.
  • Schedule and assign sanitation tasks, ensuring timely completion and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, including chemical usage and waste management.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Supervise and train sanitation technicians on multiple shifts.
  • Develop and implement training programs for sanitation employees.
  • Participate in staff meetings, operations meetings, and safety inspections.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of six years' experience in sanitation and/or maintenance, with leadership roles.
  • Strong people-focused leadership qualities and previous successful leadership experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or technical education encouraged.
  • Food Service Manager Certification through Baltimore city and other licenses as required.
  • Proficiency in office software and CMMS (Limble).
  • Strong mechanical skills, aptitude, and troubleshooting ability.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in pest control and food manufacturing facility requirements.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to work on your feet for hours at a time, in hot environments.
  • Physically capable of moving to all areas of the facility.
  • Must be capable of reaching, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, and pulling as required.
