As a General Manager with Compass Group Poland Sp. z o.o., you will be responsible for the overall operation and cost-effective management of multiple dining service departments in various facilities. Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of foodservice operations, including planning, budget development, and financial reporting.
Take ownership of the operation and ensure it meets all timelines for service and other established deadlines.
Hire, train, and orient new management associates to ensure a smooth transition and high-performing team.
Conduct management meetings to discuss progress, address concerns, and set goals for improvement.
Audit units to ensure compliance with company, government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes regarding food storage, preparation, sanitation, and record keeping.
Preferred Qualifications:
B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or a related field, or A.A. Degree plus five to seven years of directly related experience.
Minimum of five years of retail operational foodservice management experience, with flexibility depending on formal degree or training.
Good knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, marketing, and presentation.
P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.
Multi-unit management experience is preferred.
Experience with cash retail operations, retail marketing, and supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills are highly desirable.
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification is highly desirable.
