Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative - Financial Clearance to join our team at Northern Montana Health Care.

About the Position

This role involves interacting with patients to collect and verify demographic and financial information, securing required payments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as experience working in a healthcare setting.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $50,000 and $75,000, based on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a range of benefits, including health, dental, and life insurance, as well as retirement savings options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and verify patient demographic and financial information
  • Secure required payments and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient access or financial clearance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
