We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing road construction, paving, and utility projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage project teams to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Coordinate with forepersons and crews to ensure adequate staffing and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and improve crew productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with owners, agencies, and inspectors to ensure project compliance and satisfaction.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of job sites, including material procurement, equipment use, and laborer oversight.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in bridge/heavy highway construction required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' supervisory experience.
  • Ability to adapt to and learn various computer applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Proficient knowledge of NYSDOT standard specifications as it relates to construction.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and analyze job costs.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, participation in our company bonus plan, and an excellent benefit package, including company-paid health, dental, and vision insurance, and a company-funded pension plan.

Base salary range: $60,000-$125,000 (Southern Tier: $72,000-$150,000).

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials.
