Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our state-of-the-art shop in Wilton, NY. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and diesel engines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and diesel engines, including fuel injection systems, electrical, hydraulic, suspension, transmission, and brakes.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure seamless workflow and efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years' experience in diesel mechanics, heavy equipment repair, or a related field.
  • Trade school degree or equivalent in diesel mechanics, heavy equipment repair, or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must have own tools and be willing to invest in additional training and certifications.
  • Must pass a pre-hire drug screen and have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
  • Crane Inspection license or the desire to obtain.
