We are seeking a highly skilled Centralized Sterile Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a key member of our sterile processing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by maintaining a clean and sterile environment for medical equipment and instruments.
Responsibilities- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment and instruments according to established protocols and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization and inventory management
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Completion of a Central Service Technician course of study or equivalent experience
- Central Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire
- Minimum one year of related experience in a healthcare setting
