The Senior Financial Analyst II in FP&A is a leadership role that serves as the backbone of sales and margin planning in support of our ecommerce business. A seasoned professional with in-depth knowledge of financial systems, this role demands proactive problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills to interface with business leaders, and leadership capacity to mentor junior team members. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting for the business unit and contribute to the strategic financial planning of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze complex financial information and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management.
  • Prepare periodic reports and forecasts on financial performance, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Assist in the budgeting and long-term planning process for the business unit.
  • Build relationships with business leaders and partners to identify and implement solutions to meet planning needs.
  • Be the subject matter expert and trusted partner for finance-related topics.
  • Take initiative to drive high-impact projects and financial reporting while working with a high degree of autonomy.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have flexibility to pivot and reprioritize at a moment's notice.
  • Highly organized, attentive to deadlines, and a stickler for accuracy and details.
  • Understanding of various forecast methods, trend analysis, and ability to explain variances through mix-rate analysis, waterfall charts, etc.
