The Catalog Clerk plays a vital role in supporting the O'Reilly Auto Parts team by filling supplier catalog requests and overseeing the issuance of supplier catalog updates to O'Reilly and independent jobber stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue new supplier catalogs and updates to ensure timely delivery to stores.
  • Restock shelves with new supplier catalogs and O'Reilly Publications to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Fill call-in and e-form requests for supplier catalogs and O'Reilly publications to meet customer needs.
  • Follow up on back-ordered supplier catalogs to ensure timely resolution.
  • Hole-punch catalogs and other informational materials using the electric hole-punch to prepare them for distribution.
  • Prepare supplier sets of catalogs for new stores to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Operate powered equipment, including a Motorized Pallet Jack, to efficiently manage inventory and supplies.
  • Fill supplier catalog orders generated by the planogram check list program to provide customers with access to the latest supplier publications.
  • Answer phone calls within the department to provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with any Catalog Department functions and special projects as assigned by the Central Support Services Manager.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to sort and handle large quantities of paperwork.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to carry heavy loads, sit, stand, reach, stoop, and climb stairs numerous times throughout the day.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Ability to be trained to operate the Motorized Pallet Jack.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Automotive parts background.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
