Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business ventures, nurturing and sustaining client relationships, and overseeing the sales cycle from initial lead generation to finalizing agreements.

This position requires a deep understanding of client requirements, crafting customized solutions, and meeting sales objectives to foster organizational growth.

Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:
- Conduct market analysis and lead generation activities.
- Engage with current clients to uncover additional opportunities.
- Establish and expand relationships with both new and existing clients through consistent communication, meetings, and site visits.
- Attend industry conferences and networking events to forge connections and identify potential business opportunities.
- Manage requests for quotations (RFQs), prepare proposals, and ensure all necessary documentation is submitted.
- Participate in proposal development discussions and deliver comprehensive proposals.
- Follow up with clients to address inquiries and maintain relationships throughout the quoting process.

- Engage in project discussions, provide quotes, and resolve issues, negotiate payment terms, and coordinate legal matters related to RFQs and contracts.

- Successfully close business transactions that align with corporate goals and meet annual booking targets.
- Update CRM systems with sales opportunities and pertinent information.

- Maintain ongoing communication with clients, providing updates on project progress, responding promptly to inquiries, and facilitating meetings with all relevant parties.

- Ensure all necessary estimates and work are communicated clearly, fostering strong relationships.
- Adapt to various corporate processes and proactively engage pre- and post-purchase order.
- Build trust with program managers and stakeholders by presenting opportunities and necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

Education:
- A high school diploma is required; a degree in engineering, sciences, economics, or business is preferred.

Experience:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience and connections with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and government entities such as the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Energy (DoE) are essential.

- A minimum of five to ten years of prior sales or engineering experience in the manufacturing sector or a related field is preferred, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

- Candidates must be detail-oriented, possess problem-solving capabilities, and demonstrate the ability to work independently while following through on required processes in collaboration with our Customer Focused Team (CFT) and executive leadership.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen, with the ability to travel by car and airplane within the continental U.S. and internationally as needed.

- The employee may be required to adhere to additional job-related instructions and perform other duties as assigned, in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
