Job Summary

RVP Consultants is seeking a highly qualified High School Mathematics Educator to join our team. As a Mathematics Teacher for High School, you will be responsible for providing a superior education for all students while sharing your culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify accordingly during the school year.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work directly with all middle school and high school staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Differentiated Instruction: Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students, including those with diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Student Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
  • Classroom Management: Manage student behavior in the classroom and create a positive classroom environment for students to learn in.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Utilize school-approved curricula that reflects the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students.
  • Culture and Norms: Implement school-wide culture expectations and norms.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and meet with families regarding the academic and social-emotional growth of their child.
  • Technology Integration: Incorporate technology skills into daily classroom practice to support learning.
  • Professional Development: Participate in the planning and implementation of non-instructional activities, as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum three years of full-time related teaching experience at primary or secondary schools.
  • Skills: High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to properly manage confidential information.
  • Supervision: Able to supervise students of various ages in different school settings.
  • Criminal Background Check: Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
