Academic Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician Position

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician to join our team at the University of Missouri School of Medicine & MU Health Care. As a member of our Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Environmental Medicine, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of respiratory and critical care needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care to patients with pulmonary and critical care conditions, including interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and cystic fibrosis.
  • Participate in the teaching and training of fellows, residents, and medical students in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical needs.

Requirements

  • MD/DO degree and board certification in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
  • ABIM board certification in internal medicine.
  • Unencumbered medical license in the state of Missouri.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in interventional pulmonology, pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, and/or ECMO.
