About the Role

MU Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Specialist to join our team in Columbia, Missouri. As a key member of our Neurodiagnostics department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our commitment to excellence in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explain test procedures to patients and provide psychological support to ensure high-quality test results.
  • Perform scoring and long-term monitoring review, collaborating with physicians to inform their interpretation of test results.
  • Adapt test methods and instrumentation to optimize patient results, while maintaining equipment and reporting needs to leadership.
  • Recognize medically emergent situations and take appropriate actions, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Mentor Neurodiagnostic Technicians and Technologists, supporting their growth and development within the department.
Requirements
  • Five years of neurodiagnostic experience, with registration in two of the following certifications: EEG, EP, CNIM, CLTM, RPSGT, R.NCS.T., or CRT/RRT.
  • Graduation from an accredited neurodiagnostic program, with additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
