Position Summary:
The role of the Promotions Manager for the Players Division is crucial in maintaining our leadership position within the elite golfing community. This position focuses on achieving a minimum of 50% representation among FPL Ambassadors at both the National and selected PGA Section levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a targeted list of top-tier Club Professionals, collaborating with the field sales team and analyzing results from major PGA Section and National events.
- Oversee all facets of the Players Division, including talent recruitment, relationship management, and equipment support.
- Facilitate fitting experiences and player engagements at our facilities, ensuring a strong company presence at major Club Professional competitive events.
- Manage player contracts and communicate program strategies to the US Sales Team, ensuring clarity on eligibility criteria and program activities.
- Act as a product expert, personally fitting and overseeing golf club compositions for program participants.
- Coordinate travel and hosting arrangements for Players Division members at Acushnet facilities.
- Lead company efforts at National events, ensuring proper representation and support services are in place.
- Conduct fitting training events for fitting specialists and sales associates as needed.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in club fitting and 3 years in player promotion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to manage player relations effectively while achieving strategic objectives. Strong credibility within the golfing community and the ability to coordinate strategic programs are essential.
