Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Store Manager to join our team at Loop Neighborhood. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our convenience store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store is always well-stocked and clean.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and coach new store staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Create schedules in our timekeeping system to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Stock products on shelves and maintain a clean and professional store environment.
  • Forecast, order, stock, and merchandise product to meet customer demand.
  • Reconcile store paperwork promptly and accurately.
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service to store customers, vendors, and staff.
  • Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment in the store and surrounding property.
  • Manage store staff, including performance, time management, morale, staffing, and other related tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve car wash-related issues.
  • Fix gas-related issues, such as drive-offs and pumps being down.
  • Manage customer relations in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Manage store budgets and ensure compliance with budget requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Intermediate-level English proficiency required, with the ability to effectively communicate, read, and write in English.
  • 6-9 months of experience as an Assistant Manager or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong mathematics skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Desire to be part of a performance-driven team.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Reliable form of transportation.
Employee Incentives
  • Employees who have been with us for 6 months to 3 years receive 0.10 cents off per gallon of fuel.
  • Employees who have been with us for 3-5 years receive 0.30 cents off per gallon of fuel.
  • Employees who have been with us for 5+ years receive 0.40 cents off per gallon of fuel.
  • Maximum 20 gallons and 2 fill-ups per week.
Physical Requirements

The Store Manager position requires constant standing, bending, and reaching with a moderate amount of manual dexterity. Frequent lifting of 1-5 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40-50 pounds are required.

Additional Requirements
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Must be able to work various shifts and days of the week.
