Key Responsibilities

  • Work daily on the sales floor and cash register, assisting customers with their purchases and answering questions about products.
  • Quickly and accurately complete sales and return transactions on the cash register, ensuring that all transactions are processed correctly and efficiently.
  • Apply knowledge of inventory, sales, and marketing concepts to accurately process customer transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Price and check in merchandise, and maintain accurate inventory records according to company procedure.
  • Carry out The Duck Store's customer service program through all work activities, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Availability to work weekday hours between 9am and 5pm.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
