Key Responsibilities

· Aid in sourcing and acquiring prescription medications from suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring compliance with pricing and delivery timelines.

· Track inventory levels, identify purchasing requirements, and relay them to the Procurement Manager.

· Cultivate vendor relationships to guarantee quality service and dependability.

· Assist in managing inventory processes, including routine stock assessments and reconciliations.

· Contribute to the development and enhancement of inventory accuracy protocols.

· Procure packaging and shipping materials.

· Manage the shipping, receiving, and inspection of incoming supplies, verifying shipments against purchase orders and invoices.

· Maintain precise records, document data, and monitor shipment progress.

· Assist in the upkeep and management of equipment utilized in procurement and distribution.

· Participate in the formulation and review of standard operating procedures.

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local record-keeping regulations.

· Assist with the management of returned goods, expired inventory, and product recalls.

· Complete necessary compliance training and remain informed about relevant guidelines.

· Perform additional tasks as directed by the Procurement Manager or Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to manage tasks accurately and efficiently, even amidst frequent interruptions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic familiarity with pharmacy software.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and capacity to multitask efficiently.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.

Physical Requirements

Individuals in this role must meet specific physical demands to perform essential functions effectively.
