Key Responsibilities of the Host:
  • Deliver exceptional and prompt service to our guests.
  • Efficiently manage incoming phone inquiries.
  • Seating guests by identifying clean, available tables, pulling out chairs, and placing menus in front of them.
  • Follow seating protocols to ensure fair distribution among servers.
  • Welcome guests upon arrival with a warm smile and outstanding customer service.
  • Assist with takeout orders as needed.
  • Monitor dining areas for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.

  • Possess a working knowledge of menu items and beverage selections.

  • Help maintain a clean and welcoming work environment.
  • Maintain a positive and engaging demeanor throughout service.
  • Prioritize safety to ensure the well-being of oneself, colleagues, and guests at all times.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications for the Host Position:
  • Previous experience as a host or in a front-of-house role within a high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Experience in customer service, cash handling, service recovery, and problem-solving.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in computer usage is required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while addressing guest needs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across the restaurant.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for the food and beverage industry.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Frequent bending, reaching overhead, and twisting are required. Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire shift.
