Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Collaborate with treating physicians, psychiatric, and allied health professionals to plan and direct each individual member's treatment program.
- Provide Outpatient Psychotherapy: Offer individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions to members, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and improving mental well-being.
- Assess and Diagnose Mental Health Conditions: Utilize your expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of psychiatric conditions, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Communicate with Members and Families: Instruct and counsel patients and their families regarding treatment regimens, medication adherence, and other essential information, promoting a supportive and informed environment.
- Maintain Confidential Records: Prepare and maintain accurate, confidential records of member treatment and progress, adhering to state and NCQA regulations.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Participate in Departmental Activities: May be required to participate in the department on-call rotation, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with the required endorsements.
- Skills and Qualities: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards, and a commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a multidisciplinary clinic.
- Previous Experience: Post-licensure experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient or inpatient setting/program under licensed supervision.
- Clinical Responsibility: Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, individual, and group psychotherapy.
- Professional Maturity: Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity necessary for assuming professional responsibilities.
