Perillo Tours, a family-owned and operated tour operator, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their team. As a key member of the sales team, you will play a vital role in achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls/emails
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate reservation agents for further development and closure
- Close sales and achieve sales roles
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory (leads given by outside sales)
- Team with outside sales employees to close deals
- Build relationships with key travel advisors and be their liaison for anything Perillo
- Attend travel shows and events as needed (10-20% travel)
- Able to make reservations for all 3 departments for travel advisors
- Follow up on all leads generated from outside sales activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or related equivalent business experience
- Previous travel industry experience preferred
- Track record of results-driven sales and demonstrated ability to foster superior customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software and travel booking systems is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and present clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong listening skills, decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Team-oriented, pleasant and friendly attitude, with the ability to adapt to and implement change
