Job Overview

Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated individual to become a part of our Technical Support division. The ideal candidate should be organized, energetic, customer-oriented, proactive, and possess strong teamwork, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of our full range of products and services.
  • Learn and understand Video Surveillance / CCTV technologies and their practical applications.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and technical training to both the sales team and clients.
  • Assess and test surveillance cameras, DVR cards, standalone or PC-based DVR systems, and associated peripherals.
  • Construct and evaluate PC-based DVR systems tailored to customer specifications.
  • Provide timely and effective customer service and technical assistance.
  • Assist customers efficiently; collaborate with internal teams proactively.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in technical support or related fields.
  • Possession of an industry-recognized technical support certification, such as CompTIA A+, is advantageous.
  • Experience in the security systems sector is highly preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, IT/Network, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to respond professionally to emails and calls.
  • Capability to maintain confidentiality of business information.
  • Timely and effective customer response skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach to achieving excellence.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Domestic and/or international travel may be necessary (up to 15%).
  • Willingness to work additional hours as required.
  • Ability to bend, lift, open, and move products and related office items weighing between 1 to 30 lbs, as needed.
