Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Advocate to join our team at EDSI. As a Behavioral Health Advocate, you will play a critical role in assessing and intervening with program participants who have identified behavioral health concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and build therapeutic relationships with participants to assist with client-centered interventions aimed at reducing barriers
  • Provide holistic individualized supportive services to assist in clients' professional and personal developmental needs and opportunities
  • Provide individual coaching, psychoeducation, and facilitating groups when applicable
  • Identify beneficial community resources for participants and coordinate external referrals when appropriate
  • Uphold confidentiality standards with all client interactions, in accordance with your advanced degree and/or licensing board
  • Maintain organized, confidential, and well-documented participant case notes in accordance with program standards, and with ethical consideration for your licensure board
Requirements
  • Master's degree required in Social Work, Counseling, Counseling Education, or related field, with 2-3 years of clinical experience
  • Firm grasp of ethical expectations and the ability to maintain ethical standards without onsite supervision
  • Experience with counseling individuals and families
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and great documentation skills
  • Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license and automobile required
