Chair of Pathology Opportunity

Archway Physician Recruitment LLC is seeking an experienced and qualified pathologist to serve as Department Chair of Surgical Pathology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical pathology and leadership skills to oversee the department's clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sign-out of general surgical biopsies and resections
  • Participate in frozen section, cytology, and on-call services
  • Oversight of general clinical pathology needs
  • Administrative responsibilities including physician recruitment and development, achieving departmental quality, financial, and patient satisfaction goals

Requirements:

  • AP/CP board certified pathologist
  • Qualified to obtain a medical license in Massachusetts
  • At least five years of medical practice with demonstrated leadership qualities
