Family Medicine Physician

The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Medicine Physician to fill the role of Network Vice Chair of Operations in the Department of Family Medicine. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative care delivery models.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Chair in strategic priorities and initiatives for the University of Vermont Health Network, University of Vermont Medical Group, and Department of Family Medicine.
- Lead physician recruitment and HR oversight across the network for all divisions.
- Support clinical operations and network department project management.
- Develop the network operational budget and DFM compensation model annually with the Chair, network department operations team, and financial specialists.
- Provide oversight of financial performance of the integrated department.
- Provide network department of family medicine quality oversight.
- Act as the department liaison to the population health service organization and network high value care team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of leadership experience in clinical affairs/operations and a strong background in healthcare systems and finance. Current physician site leaders, clinical leaders, and vice chairs for clinical affairs or operations are encouraged to apply. Business and healthcare administration advanced training is preferred.
